I absolutely love these sheets. The fitted sheet has deep pockets which accommodates my pillow top mattress perfectly. A lot of people don't realize that with high thread count sheet you HAVE to sleep on them to soften them. Washing alone will not work. I have always bought 800 or above thread count and all of them felt scratchy, like sand paper until they were worn in. After the initial wear in period they feel like silk. Think of it as a new stiff pair of jeans, once you wear them several times they soften up.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
